Christmas Eve

These are not my 365 photos for today, but I did want to share some of the pics I took of our church on Christmas Eve. :] I'm also experimenting... I saved all but the last one as png files instead of jpg, just to see if they looked better :] so far so good.
I think they definitely look better this way.

I saw some gorgeous pictures of pomegranate and my mom bought one for me.
Ive never HAD pomegranate before let alone see or peel one - or whatever it is you do to those things, lol
It was pretty weird. o.o"
and I stole borrowed the idea of the wine glass from some pictures I saw on a forum.
They didn't turn out nearly as stunning. And I froze mine cuz i thought it would look cooler.
In fact mine just look really bad. =/
And I cant figure out what else to do with them

if anyone has any ideas.... >_< I WOULD LOVE TO READ THEM :D
I could always eat them but... I think there's some kind of potential here and my photo-chi is blocked or something xD

When i start talking about chi and stuff you know its late and I should be in bed.

Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone :] Today my siblings made some cookies and so I finally broke out my camera for the first time in a few weeks, lol.
I haven't taken ANY winter pictures yet. o.o"
I mean, I've taken pictures but not any decent ones, lol
Every once in a while I just have to put the camera down for a week or two
And I'm not dedicated enough yet to get out there and shoot some of the beautiful sunrises x3 Too bad the scenery has to be ugly suburban houses, lol. oh well.
hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things. With Christmas Eve service tonight and Christmas tomorrow I'll try and get some good photos up and posted.

Oh, and I was trying to use manual mode on my camera and there were these two annoying spots on the pictures =/
Anyone know why that would happen just in manual?
I know I NEED to get my camera cleaned but the store I was gonna take it to just randomly closed, lol

the last two have that annoying thing going on where they dont look as good as they did when they were bigger, lol
Maybe thats just me, but whatever xD
The last two are a bit grainy too, it was dark if you couldnt tell, and i was messing around with apertures and shutter speeds

These were kind of confusing because i had this idea in my head how i wanted it to look and then i couldnt seem to figure out how to do that. It was awkward looking when i tried to use my hand and just wasnt coming out the way i planned, lol.
So my dad volunteered to be my hand model since i obviously needed a few more pairs xD

The capsules I used were kind of cool, and my dad was just going to throw them away so i might save them and take more pics later if i come up with anything xD


I need some backdrops that are not bed sheets or curtains and arent all wrinkly xD
I also need some lights.
And while I'm at it... I need a studio too xD with lots of space.
