The name is kinda creepy sounding but I like the song xD
The only reason I posted the song was because the name had something to do with alleys in it, lol
ta-da, a picture of an alley. It would be even better if there were some kids from the city in it ( so the lyrics would go along with it better ) but then again they might mug me so maybe its a good thing no one was there xD for the record, this is not where i live, lol

I desaturated my picture and THEN i went into curves and thats how i got it red and blue-ish without being too crazy
i like it :]


and i got my stupid haircut fixed. :]
thank goodness.

Project 365; Day 74

I was at a birthday party today. A 3 year old birthday party at McDonalds xD But it was better than sitting around the house.
I went outside and right behind the building was this beautiful landscape. :]
man i wish i could afford a wide angle lens, lol

street photography?

this guy probably had no idea what was going on xD
but i took a picture of him because he was photogenic in that dirty homeless person type way.

Today my dad and I went to down town Cleveland at Public Square where there was a "Cleveland Tea Party" protesting against Obama and taxes and stuff.
So I finally took some pictures of something other than random things I find around my house xD YAY

It was freaking cold. It was 50 out when we left so i was just wearing a hoodie but by the time we left the protest it was 30! Soooo yeah. o_o

Project 365; Day 46

THEN i went to a church on the 15th where my mom and some other ladies make cards
I made like three cards but then i took Joshua (hes my buddy this week i guess) outside because he was bored
and i took some cool photos

BUT CHECK THIS OUT OH MY GOSH
Theres this lady in Oklahoma, "Pioneer Woman" and she posted a blog on her photography section about how she changes the colors of her desaturated pictures
only she uses some fancy photoshop but i figured out how to use it in gimp :D

Desaturate your photo
then make a white layer
use the paint bucket and drop some really bright color on there
then in your layers box on the mode drop down menu pick screen
and then play with opacity.
its pretty suhweeet

Im enjoying the beautiful weather while it lasts :P At least it isnt snow and at least its not 20 degrees outside. It was actually up to 60 today, lol

Its a little noisy, xD but I think this is the best moon picture I've ever gotten. :] so I'm pretty happy with it despite its noise, lol
it wasnt actually that dark out but i was trying to be fast and i got lucky messing with shutter speed or something xD

vintage-y sunset

I was using my "wide angle/macro" lens. Thats in quotations because it isnt technically a lens xD its just this big silver thing that goes on the end of my real lens and kinda widens things a little. if im lucky it'll do a little fish eye type thing but usually I just like it for the little bit of vignette it puts around my pictures. which i probably cropped most of it out when i was quickly trying to resize these xD oh well.

I miss snowboarding. :] i forgot how fun it was.

hosnap. 1:30 pm, I'm getting good at this ;D i must have taken 3495834908 pictures to get ones with the icicles actually DRIPPING.
only a couple of them came out and even fewer of them were in focus because i was using manual focus.
lol. whoops. oh well.
