Project 365; Day 46

THEN i went to a church on the 15th where my mom and some other ladies make cards
I made like three cards but then i took Joshua (hes my buddy this week i guess) outside because he was bored
and i took some cool photos

BUT CHECK THIS OUT OH MY GOSH
Theres this lady in Oklahoma, "Pioneer Woman" and she posted a blog on her photography section about how she changes the colors of her desaturated pictures
only she uses some fancy photoshop but i figured out how to use it in gimp :D

Desaturate your photo
then make a white layer
use the paint bucket and drop some really bright color on there
then in your layers box on the mode drop down menu pick screen
and then play with opacity.
its pretty suhweeet

this was a really bright red

I regarded the world as such a sad sight

I got up this morning and since my window has an almost perfect view of the sun rising I couldn't help but notice how beautiful it looked through the icicles. :] I'm not dedicated enough to go out in the snow in the morning xD Plus the icicles are too high so I obviously took these through my window :P but I still like them.

hosnap. 1:30 pm, I'm getting good at this ;D i must have taken 3495834908 pictures to get ones with the icicles actually DRIPPING.
only a couple of them came out and even fewer of them were in focus because i was using manual focus.
lol. whoops. oh well.
and this on the other hand is just pure win.
i luuuurrv it.
